8/18/26 Summer Band Rehearsal Update

Hello Band Families and Students,
It was great to see your students last night and we had a great first rehearsal back! After last night's rehearsal, with our first game coming up next week, we need some additional time to put our show together. We will be adding some additional rehearsal time to our next 3 summer rehearsals. Please see the updated schedule below.
UPDATED SUMMER SCHEDULE
Wednesday 8/19 5-8pm (Drumline and guard will still have sectional 5-6pm)
Monday 8/24 10am-1pm (No drumline/guard sectional)
Tailgate @7pm: Call time 6:15pm
Wednesday 8/26 5-9pm
5-6pm required sectional for all sections
6-9pm rehearsal
Thursday 8/27 - Football Game
Google calendar on the website has been updated to reflect the change. If your student is going to miss a rehearsal or is not able to make it to the added portion of rehearsal, please have them email or message me on remind prior to rehearsal.

UNIFORM HELP
I am looking for 2-3 parents to help fit our remaining 15 students for uniforms on Wednesday from 5-7pm. If you are able to help please respond to this email. Thank you!

ANNUAL WARREN MOTT MARAUDER MUSIC MACHINE TAILGATE
Monday, August 24th 2026 at 7pm
Students report to the band room at 6:15 p.m. Wearing their show shirt and school appropriate shorts.
Step-off is 6:55 p.m.
Please plan to bring any item you previously signed up and volunteer for the same set up shifts. We could still use some more appetizers and help with set up. Please sign up below!
BAND BOOSTERS
Come out and get involved with the Warren Mott Band Club and support the band! The first Booster meeting is on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 6:30pm in the band room. We will be nominating and voting for a new WMBC President for the 26-27 school year.
