The school year is off to a great start! Thank you for your flexibility with the rain and call time last night.
Student Handbook
The attached student handbook was sent home with your student on Thursday 9/3. Please review it, sign it, and have them return it on Tuesday, 9/8.

I have updated our website! Each email I send out will be posted under the Eblast section. Additionally, you can find information on student account, our schedule, and marching band registration. Under the Marching Band tab on the pictures page is a link to a google drive folder for parents and students to upload and share pictures throughout the season. I am hoping that this google drive will provide an easy way for you to get pictures of your students! Thank you Braxton Young and Sara Grant for your help with it and thank you Karen Korba for taking lots of pictures and uploading them to the website!
Band Booster Meeting: Tuesday, 9/8 at 6:30pm
The first Warren Mott Band Club meeting of the year is this Tuesday, September 8th at 6:30pm in the Band Room. Come out help volunteer for Last Game Party, Senior Night, Glow Show and Marching Band Festival. We will be nominating and electing a new President for the 26-27 school year. If you are interested or know of someone interested, make sure to attend the meeting Monday to nominate and elect them!
WMBC & WM Band Video Policy
After reviewing with the marching band show video policy with the Band Booster Board we have decided to remain with the same policy in terms of video. NO Posting of any show videos on Facebook or any other locations until after MSBOA festival. Our professional recording of the show will be posted a few days after the game to our Warren Mott Youtube. You are welcome to record videos to share with family and friends, but please do not post them on Facebook, Youtube or in other locations. If you have posted a video from last night or earlier in the season please take it down. Reach out to the Band Boosters with any additional questions.
Polish Festival
We will be performing in the Polish Festival on Sunday 9/13 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church: 30003 Ryan Road in Warren, MI near Warren Mott. Call time will be 11:15am. We will perform at 11:30am. We will play SSB, and 2-3 stand tunes and then students will be free to enjoy the festival of food trucks, music, and other activities.
This is an option gig. Students are responsible for getting themselves to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Additionally, they will need to bring their instrument home over the weekend, because we will not be able to get into Warren Mott on Sunday.

We will not be going to the PEP Away game on 9/11 at Port Huron High School!
There will be an optional pep gig for the powderpuff game during homecoming week. I am waiting to hear the date and time of the powder puff game and then that will be added to the schedule as well.
WM Homecoming Game 9/25 - Alumni Band
Homecoming Football Game is Friday 9/25. We will be welcoming alumni back to march in the parade from Beer with us as well as performing in the game. Please see the 9/25 timeline below and share the Alumni Band Survey with any Alumni that may be interested:
4:00pm - Call Time at Mott Band Room to get dressed
4:30pm - Call Time at Beer Middle School (Students must provide their own transportation to Beer or Walk!)
If you are willing to shuttle students please arrive at Mott around 4:10pm to start driving groups of students
4:45pm - Parade Line Up
5:15pm - Parade Begins
5:45pm - Parade complete/arrive at Mott, head back to Band Room
6:30pm - Step off to March to the Stadium
For Homecoming we will be marching our half time show at the end of the game not during half time. Please plan to stay until the end of the game to see our performance!
WM Band Jacket
The Colorguard team will be ordering Colorguard Jackets and offered to open it up to include WM Band Member Jackets. If you would be interested in ordering a Warren Mott Band Jacket please fill out the form below by Friday, September 11th. Jackets are $69, and a mock up is attached. They may be less depending on how many people are interested.
