REGISTRATION FORMS:
Week One Band Camp: July 14-17, 2025 @ Warren Mott High School 9am-4pm
Week Two Band Camp: July 22-27, 2025 @ Northwood University Midland, MI)
Camp is an essential part of our program. Teamwork and camaraderie are as important as the music. This time provides students the opportunity to begin building a foundation for the year. By the beginning of school year, they are a team. The first week of camp will be held at Warren Mott. During this week, all students will learn and review the fundamentals of marching, the 2025 marching season music, stand music, and prepare for our first home football game. The Varsity Band, which is open to everyone regardless of grade level, will be using the facilities at Northwood University for the second week of camp. During this week, the students will learn the entire 2025 Halftime Marching Show!! We are positive that you will find the plans for this year exciting and fulfilling! VARSITY band is open to all band students. The requirements are that you are available for all after school practices in the fall, are not afraid of hard work, and are a truly dedicated person. Participation in Varsity Band is subject to the WCS activity fee requirements (if applicable), paid separately to Warren Consolidated Schools.
It is mandatory that ALL band members (any student in a band class) be in attendance at the first week of camp. The student is automatically a member of the MARCHING Band. (See Band Camp handbook for explanation of bands) Any request to be excused from the first week of camp must be submitted, in writing, to Mr. Miller.
Parents: Please complete all required forms and bring them with you, along with your deposit, to one of the ON SITE REGISTRATION evenings at Warren Mott High School in the Band Room/ANNEX, Monday, April 28, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm OR Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Organizing camp for a group of this size takes a lot of advance planning. Your prompt cooperation is greatly appreciated.
NOTE: The $50 On Time Registration discount is only available to those students who register at the On Site Registration!! No exceptions will be made.
Need To Save Some Money on Band Camp Costs?
The WMBC has a limited supply of used Marching Band Shoes and Concert Tuxedo Shirts. We are offering the items at a reduced fee for those students who we have sizes that fit and request a used item. They are available on a first come first serve basis. Please make sure to ask for them at registration!
Current students needing shoes or a Tux shirt are required to attend On-Site Registration; we will fit them for size during registration.
We will also be holding our annual Tailgate Party on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Once again, it will be potluck. We’ll supply the meat; you bring a dish to pass and your own beverages. The party gives families an opportunity to see what our students have learned and time to mingle with friends old and new. Watch for information about this event to come home the first week of camp.
